Are parents or students asking for more meatless meal options on your menus? Looking to give Meatless Mondays a try? This page is here to help!
We’re highlighting 18 of our lacto-ovo vegetarian meals you can serve as meatless options, as well as 2 lacto-ovo pescatarian meals that can be served during the season of Lent. Recipes include dairy and eggs and would not be suitable for those who adhere to a vegan diet or exclude these specific foods from their diets.
Each meal includes sized recipes (including entrée, M/MA, Grain, and Sides when available) and an editable food production report (FPR). The meals have been formulated to credit as 2 Meat/Meat Alternate and 2 Whole Grain Rich to meet or exceed all NSLP/CACFP component values.
